About me
Welcome to my website! I received my PhD in Political Science from Claremont Graduate University. My research lies at the intersection of American politics and political theory, with a particular focus on American political thought, the US Constitution and institutions, and race and ethnic politics. I am especially interested in the American Founding, constitutionalism, American statesmen’s rhetoric, and American slavery and its legacy. I study American political thought in the context of the broader tradition of Western political philosophy. I also conduct empirical research using administrative, public opinion, and textual data.
