About me

Welcome to my website! I am a Ph.D. candidate in political science at Claremont Graduate University, specializing in American political thought, development, and institutions. I am interested in the American Founding, American slavery, representation, polarization, and populism. Theoretically, my interests include the works of the American founders, Alexis de Tocqueville, Abraham Lincoln, and Woodrow Wilson. Empirically, I use both administrative and public opinion data to evaluate American democracy.
